It is always a great honor when a couple asks me to be a part of and plan their wedding, but it is an even greater honor, when that couple is also one of your friends. Two of mine and Nick’s friends, Anna Karen and Bennet got engaged this last winter and we were so excited for them. Anna Karen went to high school with us, and Bennett is one of Nick’s fraternity brothers in BYX. A few months after their engagement, Anna Karen called me asking if I would help plan their wedding. I was so ecstatic that she chose me to be her wedding planner.

Anna Karen and Bennett starting dating in college when Anna Karen was a Freshman, and Bennett was a Junior at the University of Arkansas. After Bennett graduated, he decided to attend seminary and complete his residency at University Baptist Church in Fayetteville. After almost 3 years of dating, Bennett got down on one knee at Lake Fayetteville this last November and asked Anna Karen to be his wife. Spoiler Alert she said yes, and we began planning her elegant May wedding.

Anna Karen and Bennett exchanged their vows on May 28th, 2022 at University Baptist Church in Fayetteville, Arkansas surrounded by their family and friends. She hired some of the best vendors for her beautiful spring wedding.
