The Woman Behind the Blooms
Arloh Flora was established in 2021 by owner and designer Mackenzie Clark. Mackenzie is an enneagram 7 and describes herself as, “A venti cup of confetti with a drizzle of kerosene on top.” Mackenzie is a wife to her husband of 6 years, Matt, and a mother to their two lovely daughters. She is passionate about floral design, but her greatest passion is being a mother. Mackenzie is a chocolate and coffee lover, but flowers are her love language. Arloh Flora is a brand new face in Northwest Arkansas, however, Mackenzie has deep roots in Arkansas.
Returning to her Roots
Mackenzie, owner and designer at Arloh Flora is an Arkansas native from Conway. She has a bachelor's degree in interior design from the University of Central Arkansas. After school Mackenzie decided that interior design wasn’t the career for her and that she needed a career that allowed for more free flowing creativity. She spent some time working at a design company in Little Rock and travelled around the world before moving to Atlanta, Georgia. In 2017, Mackenzie began working in a flower shop. “From day 1, I knew that (flower design) is what I wanted to do,” said Mackenzie in our interview. While living in Atlanta, Mackenzie did some freelance floral design and worked for several companies including Ginger Rose, Wrennwood Design, and was even the lead floral designer and manager at The Bloom Studio. “I learned a lot of the business side of flowers and decided to start my own company, knowing that I could be successful,” Mackenzie states. Today, she is a very passionate mother of two girls and is still settling down in their new home in Northwest Arkansas. Despite having just moved to the area, Mackenzie has already established Arloh Flora as one of NWA’s top wedding vendors.

Prices vary depending on your wedding floral needs, but for a full service design, you can expect to spend close to $3,500. Depending on the time of year and your flowers of choice, Mackenzie sources her florals from both local farmers and imports flowers from as far as Holland. While located in Northwest Arkansas, Arloh Flora is happy to travel to your wedding location, wherever it may be. Depending on where your wedding is, travel fees may vary. Mackenzie specializes in creating trendy, modern, and edgy floral designs for her clients. She loves to work with brides who want to push the boundaries of floral design and create something that has never been done before. “My relationships with my brides is my top priority, and I hope to provide all of my brides with peace of mind,” says Mackenzie. Mackenzie’s goal is to provide an excellent service and floral design for her brides that “Fills them with joy,” on the most important day of their life. To Mackenzie, “This isn’t a job,” she wants her “Brides to be 1,000% happy and 1,000% enjoy the process.”
Advice from a Wedding Florist
Each month I ask our featured vendor to give advice to brides planning their wedding. We all know wedding planning can be a tedious and stressful process, and hopefully hearing from each of our wedding professionals will help ease that stress. When asked what her advice for brides planning their wedding, Mackenzie offered this, “Be flexible, open minded, and trust your vendors. They have your best interest in mind.” While this is most likely your first and only wedding, your vendors have worked countless weddings and trust me, they have seen it all. They know what works and what doesn’t. Lean on your vendors, ask any questions they may have and please, please, please, take their advice. Your vendor's success relies on your happiness and the success of your wedding day. We all want you to have the wedding of your dreams no matter how big.
